Sam Schwartz has announced that Sara Disney Haufe, PE, PTOE, will serve as Director of Traffic Engineering, Chicago. As part of the leadership of the office, Sara will oversee traffic engineering staff and projects in Chicago and across the Midwest.

Drawing on 16 years of experience, Sara provides insightful transportation expertise in support of communities and private developments alike. Her project experience runs the gamut from feasibility to construction and covers a wide variety of real estate product types, including industrial, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Her work is characterized by the ability to balance competing interests (including jurisdictional expectations at the state, county, and municipal levels); communicate successfully with partners, stakeholders, and the public about complex technical issues; and develop multimodal solutions that are cohesive with adjacent land uses. Sara believes deeply that a well-planned transportation network provides the basis for strong and equitable communities and brings this conviction to every project.
