Mayoor Sheth is Sam Schwartz's Controller, overseeing the firm's accounting and finance functions. Mayoor has more than three decades of experience in accounting and finance leadership roles at engineering firms, with a focus on delivering meaningful reporting of complex financial and managerial positions, planning budgets and audits, and optimizing business operations.

Mayoor holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Audit from Gujarat University, India. He possesses a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has passed the Certified Public Accountant exams in the US.

 

Who do you admire? Why?

Mahatma Gandhi. Coming from India, I can’t think of anyone other than the man who gave India its freedom from British rule by practicing the principle of Satyagraha—resistance to tyranny through mass nonviolent civil disobedience.
