Todd Fagen

Vice President and General Manager, Chicago Office

Todd Fagen is Vice President and Chicago General Manager of SSE. With 20 years of transportation engineering and planning experience, Fagen has shifted his focus in the last two years to public sector transportation planning as it relates to complex urban and campus settings. He serves as a board member for the Congress for New Urbanism, Illinois Section, where is working on establishing LEED-ND Regional Priority Credits for Illinois and the Heartland Region.

Fagen's 17 years of experience has primarily been focused on land use development and its impacts on traffic generation, operations and safety. He has performed this type of study in the context of site development traffic impact analysis, large area transportation planning, roadway operation and design, intersection signalization and stop sign warrants, neighborhood traffic calming, at-grade railroad crossings and expert testimony related to these issues. Fagen is currently the President for the Executive Board of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Illinois Section.
